FRANKLIN DELANO ROOSEVELT: Presidential Elections

Franklin Delano Roosevelt holds the record for the longest-serving American President. FDR was elected to his fourth term in 1944. And no one can ever contest this feat. The 22nd Amendment limited future presidents to only two terms in 1951. The Amendment states that “No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice.”
