This book is one of the more interesting and well written, easy to read biographies of Napoleon Bonaparte. If that is all you want it works.

Making historical figures into relateable, identifiable people you can see yourself in is what good biographies do, in addition to accurate narratives. This book does both. It took me just shy of a few weeks almost a year to finish but well worth it.
